Sisters Molly and Anne knew they were nuts at an early age. Today they know that each of us, everywhere, is a little nuts. They are committed to honoring all good nuts and to helping others recognize their own inner nut.
An artist by trade, Anne first saw the possibilities for true nutty creatures and created the original characters. Her first set of nuts, the Nut Farm, was the Grand Prize winner at the Montgomery County Fair in 2006.
Molly is the nut behind Little Nutthings. She knew immediately upon seeing Anne’s creations that they are meant for a broader audience. Together, Molly and Anne continue to think outside of the shell and develop new nutty projects.
Kt Augustine (http://www.ktaugustine.com/) is the artist behind most of the photography and graphics.

A portion of each sale is donated to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and their efforts to treat and prevent childhood malnutrition through the use of ready-to-use foods like Plumpy’nut™, one of the best uses of peanuts ever!
1. They’re good for us. They’re high in plant protein, monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals and are cholesterol-free.
2. They’re cute with lots of personality: nice curves, interesting texture and lots of variations.
3. They mix well with sweets and are in 5 of the 10 top selling candy bars in the US.
4. They’re extremely versatile. George Washington Carver discovered over 300 uses from hand lotion to ink to axle grease.
5. They’re a great export for the USA. Though not the largest producer of peanuts, the US is the largest exporter.
6. They’re one of the ingredients—along with milk and essential vitamins and minerals—in Plumpy’nut ™, a ready-to-use therapeutic food that has revolutionized the way childhood malnutrition is treated and prevented.
(Yes, we know that’s more than 5 reasons, but we’re nuts.)
